Little girl let out of the house
Been caging myself in my little apt a tat too long. Two weeks ago, I was impressed by the night scenes in Canary Wharf, very much likened to a someone in contact with bright light big city. *gnaw my fist in awe* And since yesterday, i have been singing my lalala song, cos LC and I bought tickets to go to explore the grounds Shakespeare used to tread on. Being able to get out of zone 1 of London, i was definately in high spirits.
7:30am
Woke up in shock. Thought i was late as i was due to meet LC at the station at 8.30 and NONE of the clocks in my house was correct. My phone alarm was set 1 hr earlier, the one beside my bed was probably 15min faster. The one on my pc is probably 5 min slower. Anyway, i tried to be fast to head for the door by 8am.
8:20am
Arrived at Marylebone station. None of the fast ticket machines were working. Went to the counter and explained the situation. Instead of issuing me the ticket, the guy stamped my "kiddy" information slip to indicate the validity of the reference etc. I was immensely shocked. In betweem all pictures on the paper, there was this serious stamp, representing GBP 25 in total. win liao
8.54am: Set off with breakfast for our trip
11.05am: We managed to get through the eager crowds and arrived in Stratford. Immediately, we headed for the city and were very highjacked by every other quaint shop. Was very tempted to get this wooden trolley stand. And we decided to stop by later. I skipped the teddy bear musuem too. But managed to get a "get well soon" bear, which reminds me immenseively of JJH.
Found a ribbon shop with a whole lot of retro like ribbons. They were all so pretty. But not too sure i should do with them. Maybe tie all over my body. but i guess i'll look like a present or something:)

I just love the countryside. Everything is so pretty. the shops are just so quaint. Our favourite hangout got to be this shop called "the jewellery stop". We spent approximately 2 hr in there initially. kept looking at the items and i initially bought 5 items. subsequently, just as we were heading out, we saw more stuff and i added 2 more to my collection. LC also got quite a few stuff, which was very surprising cos she never really buys accessories before. But it could also be attributed to her not finding the stuff she likes. she likes those more "musculine" kind, as vs the girly type.
Greatest buys of the day
And then we dragged outselves out for tea and scones. Well, i guess warwickshire isn't the place for such fine tea. But it wasn't too bad. we walked around a little and ended up in the same jewellery shop. LC was quite gian to buy this necklace. And so as pai sei as we were, we headed back in again. We saw more stuff in the window display and almost went beserk. In the end, from 3.30pm, we covered every inch of the shop until the shop closed. After all the items, i was much poorer, but 12 items "richer and happier". And the best part is that i have decided to go a little more funky. so instead of my usual, i opted for some unusual kind. let's hope retro does not go out too quickly.
